What is GLEAP?

GLEAP is short for Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Program, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit all-volunteer organization that assists with utility bills, transportation, food, medicine, and housing needs for families within the Grand Ledge Public School District. Annually, GLEAP serves over 400 families GLEAP is funded by donations from generous organizations, churches, and individuals.

GLEAP has a strong history of helping people make ends meet in times of emergency since the Gulf oil crisis of 1973.

 

If you live in the Grand Ledge School District, please call us at 626-0694 and leave a message in the event you need basic assistance.  Our volunteer social worker will respond to your message and coordinate financial assistance utilizing a growing network of area providers, which include government, churches, businesses, and other community organizations.
